Job summary

Schneider is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician in Indianapolis, IN to perform on-site maintenance on trailers, trucks, and containers from a stocked service truck. Travel to customer sites and provide accurate work estimates with emphasis on safety and quality.

Required are a technical degree in diesel technology or 1 year trailer tech experience, valid driver’s license, and a DOT medical card or ability to obtain it within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Travel to on-site customers as part of daily duties.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance, including tires, electrical, and welding.
• Complete inspections, diagnoses and work estimations.
• Communicate status updates to customers and drivers.
