Job Summary

The Mobile Trailer Technician I performs DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and assists with more advanced repairs under supervision. Work is performed at the customer's site, and the role involves learning and applying mechanical skills to support fleet maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety practices and procedures.
• Manage parts inventory and operate company vehicle safely.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs.
• Document work and communicate effectively with management and clients.
• Maintain safety standards and company policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years' related experience.
• Set of hand tools for the job.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Obtain 608/609 certification within 18 months.
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.

Preferred Certifications & Skills

• ASE 608/609 certification.
• Knowledge of trailer systems and repair techniques.
• Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.
• Effective communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay ranges from $21.54 to $32.31, with bonuses, benefits starting DAY ONE, paid time off, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and more.
