Job summary

Quality Truck Care Center, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Technician / Trailer Mechanic to perform DOT inspections, diagnose and repair brake, air, electrical, and suspension systems. You will weld and fabricate trailer components and document work orders accurately in a clean, modern shop environment.

Qualifications

Valid Wisconsin driver’s license preferred (CDL not required).
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills are essential.
Experience with welding, fabrication, or trailer repair is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Perform DOT and Preventative Maintenance inspections on trailers
Diagnose and repair brake, air, electrical (lighting, ABS) and suspension systems
Weld and fabricate steel and aluminum trailer components
Complete work orders and service documentation accurately
Handle on-site service calls and maintain a clean, safe workspace
Interact professionally with customers, drivers, and team members

Position Summary

Correctly perform DOT & PM Inspections on trailers. Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, including brakes, air system, electrical system and suspension components. Perform welding and fabrication repairs. Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
