Job summary

Nextlink is seeking a Field Operations – Tower Non-Exempt professional. This role involves climbing towers up to 500 feet to install, replace, and repair antenna systems across multiple states. You will perform cable runs, antenna positioning checks, and document safety analyses.

Expected is outdoor work in varied weather, with full-time hours and overtime as needed. A valid driver license and ability to travel are required. Training provided and opportunities for advancement available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro‑mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Climb towers up to 500 feet to install, replace, and repair antenna systems.
• Run power, ground, fiber, Cat5e and coaxial cables and check antenna positioning.
• Complete safety analyses (JSA) before climbs and document results.
• Maintain site equipment, perform tower maintenance, and ensure proper weatherproofing.
