Job summary

Southern Tire Mart in Montrose, CO is seeking a Tire Service Technician to respond to roadside and on-site service calls with a fully equipped service truck. You will mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires for passenger, light truck, commercial, and industrial applications.

Diagnose tire issues, perform light mechanical repairs, inspect wear and inflation, and operate TPMS with other diagnostic tools. You will follow DOT regulations, provide clear timelines to customers, and assist with

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required.
Ability to lift and move tires weighing 30-250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
Capable of working independently in various weather and road conditions.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Respond to roadside and on-site service calls with a fully equipped service truck.
Mount, dismount, balance, and repair all tire types.
Diagnose tire issues and perform light mechanical repairs as needed.
Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage and proper inflation.
Operate TPMS and other diagnostic tools; maintain equipment in safe condition.
