Job summary

Pine Belt CDJR MS in San Antonio, TX is hiring a tire service technician to respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck.

You will mount, dismount, balance, and repair all tire types, diagnose tire issues, perform light mechanical repairs, inspect tires and wheels for wear, and operate TPMS and diagnostic tools, ensuring safety and timely service for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not required.
• Overtime may be required.
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move tires weighing 30–250 lbs.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck.
• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair all tire types.
• Diagnose tire issues and perform light mechanical repairs as needed.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
• Perform fleet inspections and preventative maintenance checks when required.
• Operate TPMS and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain the service truck, tools, and equipment in safe operating condition.
• Follow DOT regulations, safety policies, and traffic laws at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service with clear communication of service details and timelines.
• Assist with warehouse or shop duties when not on service calls.
