Responsibilities

• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspections (tires, brakes, fluids) at various field locations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations) per manufacturer specs.
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and maintenance.
• Document repair orders to reflect steps taken and parts used.
• Maintain inventory and track parts per procedures.
• Refill and properly dispose of used oil and other automotive waste safely.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality; keep area clean and organized.

Overview

Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Maintenance Technician. This hybrid position is based 2 days out of our Oakland Service Center facility with travel throughout the East Bay, operating out of a mobile maintenance van and 3 days out of our Concord Service Center facility. The Mobile Maintenance Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. This position offers an hourly wage of $24.00 / hour and requires a valid California drivers license. The Oakland Service Center is located at 165 98th Ave, Oakland, CA with scheduled shifts starting and ending at this address and the Concord Service Center is located at 1235 Concord Ave, Concord, CA with scheduled shifts starting and ending at this address.

This position is subject to a pre-employment drug test as required under the Federal Transit Administration.

Must Be Able To Work The Following Schedule

• Sunday and Monday from 7:00am - 3:30pm as a Mobile Lube Technician starting and ending at 165 98th Ave, Oakland, CA.
• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00am - 5:30pm at our Concord Service Center located at 1235 Concord Ave, Concord, CA.
• Friday and Saturday OFF.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels at various field locations
• Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines at various field locations
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance
• Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair
• Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures
• Perform daily inventory checks to ensure proper stock levels of necessary supplies, including tires, oil, and lubricants
• Manage proper disposal of used items, including old oil, filters, and other automotive waste, in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Refill new oil and properly dispose of used oil on a daily basis, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Perform all job functions outdoors, regardless of weather conditions, with a willingness to adapt to varying environmental challenges
• Practice safe driving with attention to detail and thoroughness in order to prevent injury to others and damage to all vehicles in operation
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Maintain safe and clean work area
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
