Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Mobile Threat Analysis specialist within the Cyber Threat Analysis Division to perform advanced mobile forensics and app assessments. You will examine mobile devices end-to-end, analyze artifacts for indicators of compromise, and craft comprehensive technical reports for diverse stakeholders.

Role requires U.S. citizenship, an active security clearance (initial Secret, with potential TS/SCI), and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience; 7 years with Masters; 4 years substitution allowed.
• Must possess or obtain one of the listed professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CE, CCSF, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience performing mobile device forensic acquisitions.
• Experience analyzing forensic images and data for indicators of compromise (IOCs) and network intrusion artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic examinations of mobile devices (Android/iOS), including full acquisitions.
• Perform mobile application assessments to identify malicious code, data exfiltration risks, and communication patterns.
• Analyze mobile threat data from classified and open-source resources to inform stakeholders.
• Report on unique attack vectors, emerging mobile threats, and current trends.
• Assess the cyber threat environment for U.S. missions worldwide.
• Apply forensic principles throughout the analysis lifecycle.
