Job summary

Peraton in Fort Gordon, GA is seeking a Senior Forensic and Malware Analyst to reverse engineer malware, perform comprehensive forensic analysis on hosts and mobile devices, and scrutinize network traffic for intrusion indicators. Qualifications

• Requires extensive experience in malware analysis, digital media and mobile forensics, scripting (PowerShell, Python, BASH), YARA rule creation, and a recognised IA certification plus a long-standing security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer compiled and scripted malware to identify intrusions and artifacts.
• Perform static and dynamic forensic analysis on hosts and mobile devices.
• Inspect network traffic for intrusion indicators and develop detection signatures.
• Report findings and remediation guidance to leadership and mission partners.
