Job summary

Friendship-House in Scranton, PA is seeking a Master’s- and license-eligible mental health professional to join a multidisciplinary team. You will assess clients, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapies, while maintaining compliant clinical documentation.

The role offers a flexible 40-hour work week, requires a valid driver’s license and clearances, and includes a sign-on bonus to support onboarding.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or other mental health discipline.
• A professional license/certification (e.g., LPC, LCSW, NCC, and LSW) is preferred, but not required.
• Clinical experience with children required.
• Knowledge of community resources preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and PA Act 33/34 and FBI background checks clearances required.

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or other mental health discipline. A professional license/certification (e.g., LPC, LCSW, NCC, and LSW) is preferred, but not required. Clinical experience with children required and knowledge of community preferred. Position has a flexible 40 hours/week schedule; and requires a valid driver’s license and PA Act 33 Child Abuse, PA Act 34 Criminal Records, and FBI Criminal Background Check clearances.
