Job summary

CCRES Educational and Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Mobile Therapist (MT) in Chester County, PA. This is an independent contractor position delivering in-home psychotherapy as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team.

The MT will provide individual and family therapy in the home, work after-school or early evenings, and manage a flexible caseload.

Qualifications include graduate degree with clinical practice credits and PA licensure preferred; clearances required.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree with 9+ credits in clinical practice and completed practicum
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and PA licensure preferred

RATES:

• $60.00 per hour in independent contractor/1099 position

SUMMARY:

The Mobile Therapist / MT is an independent contract position and a member of an interdisciplinary clinical team:

• MT needs throughout Chester County, PA!
• MT will work after-school or evening hours
• Flexible scheduling for work/life balance!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide individual and family psychotherapy in the home environment

• Provide insight into family dynamics and provide assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the client to take a more positive role in the family
• Provide clinical progress notes & development of psychotherapy plan
• Work after-school/early evening hours, usually with 1 - 2 hours per week for each client's family, and ability to build a caseload of multiple clients

Requirements

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

(Requires one of the following graduate degree requirements)

• Graduate degree with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from an accredited college/university AND a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults
• Graduate degree from an accredited university with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in clinical psychology, social work, education, counseling, or related field AND completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
• Experience working with children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum Disorder and PA License (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) preferred

CREDENTIALS:

(Clearances current within 12 months)

• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
• FBI Department of Human Service background clearance - Service code: 1KG738
• TB screening (current within 3 months)
• Official transcripts from graduate program
• Professional liability insurance
• Valid PA licensure (if applicable- LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
