Job summary

MATRIX BEHAVIOR SOLUTIONS, LLC is seeking Mobile Therapists to provide services in Schuylkill Haven, PA. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in mental health services and experience with children or adolescents. This position offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay of $39-$44 per hour.

The role includes developing treatment plans, providing therapy in various environments, and supporting caregivers. Matrix provides up to 80% of health premiums and two weeks of paid time off for staff. Supervision for BACB candidates is offered free of charge.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (required): mental health professional or graduate‑level degree in mental health services.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
• One year of paid experience working with children or adolescents (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized client treatment plans using evidence‑based practices.
• Provide individualized therapy in the home and community environments.
• Support implementation of treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising Behavior Consultant/BCBA.
• Provide support to parents, teachers, or community officials.
• Serve as a role model for appropriate behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized client treatment plans using evidence‑based practices.
• Provide individualized therapy in the home and community environments.
• Support implementation of treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising Behavior Consultant/BCBA.
• Provide support to parents, teachers, or community officials.
• Serve as a role model for appropriate behaviors.
• Provide clinical support to direct‑care staff.
• Implement consequences related to appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
• Coordinate clinical information and direction with other professionals and agencies.
• Exchange information clearly and concisely with appropriate parties and stakeholders.
• Develop meaningful treatment plans and therapeutic systems.
• Construct key growth experiences for the client and family.
• Provide positive role engagement interventions for client and family.
• Improve secure caregiver‑child attachments.
• Provide executive functioning skills for the client and family.
• Increase emotion regulation and distress tolerance/coping for the client.
• Complete and submit all paperwork, including session notes, encounter logs, treatment plans, and assessments, in a timely manner.

Supervision of BACB candidates is provided free of charge to qualified staff.

Education

• Master’s degree (required): licensed mental health professional or graduate‑level degree in mental health services.

Background Checks & Licensing

• Appropriate background checks, transcripts of degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, ACT 34, FBI clearances).
• Participation in Medicaid and Medicare programs.
• Completion of NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) verification and an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
