Qualifications

• 5-8 years of demonstrated experience in software quality assurance and automation engineering, specifically within mobile application testing environments.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Python.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies and QA best practices.
• Excellent ability to communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including requirements analysis, test case creation, manual execution, and automation.
• Lead manual and automated testing of mobile apps across Android and iOS devices and OS versions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python; integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze specs and user stories to identify risks and define effective testing strategies.
• Collaborate with development to investigate defects and ensure timely fixes.
• Mentor junior testers on advanced testing techniques and Python automation.
• Generate comprehensive test reports, defect summaries, and release notes.

Note: GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed hybrid in Santa Clara, CA is $115,000 - $125,000 and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. Requirements

  Required Skills:

  Strong expertise as a mobile tester for both Android and iOS platforms.

  Proven hands-on experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Python.

  Demonstrated advanced expertise in Quality Assurance methodologies and practices, leading complex testing initiatives for enterprise-grade mobile applications.

  Expertise in utilizing configuration management and version control tools, such as Git.

  Extensive experience in designing and executing Usability, Functional, and Regression testing strategies.

  Exceptional communication and reporting skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  Proven capability to deliver high-quality, detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

  Strong understanding and practical application of agile software development methodologies.

Job Responsibilities

  Proactively identify and propose innovative testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

  Mentor junior test engineers on advanced testing techniques, Python automation strategies, and best practices in mobile QA.

  Generate comprehensive and insightful test reports, defect summaries, and release notes for stakeholders.
