Job summary

Roehl Transport, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to perform on-site maintenance of trucks and trailers in/around Findlay, OH. You will work outside a shop with a Roehl-provided service truck and required tools to diagnose and repair quickly and accurately.

The role requires a technical diesel background, travel for on-site customers, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Roehl offers benefits and a path for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in diesel technology or related field or 1 year diesel tech experience.
• Travel is required for on-site customers.
• Valid driver's license and must meet DMV standards.
• Basic welding skills are preferred.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.

Job overview

Complete on-site maintenance on trucks and trailers. Work outside a shop as a Mobile Diesel Technician in/near Findlay, OH. You will be supplied with a service truck stocked with the specialty tools and parts needed to get the job done efficiently and correctly.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance, including annual inspections, tire changes, electrical repairs, and engine repairs.
• Complete inspections, diagnosis and work estimations.
• Communicate status updates to Roehl drivers and internal customers.

Skills and qualifications

• Technical degree in diesel technology or related field, or a minimum of 1 year of diesel technician experience.
• Travel is required for on-site customers.
• Valid driver\'s license and can meet Roehl Transport Inc. DMV record standards.
• Basic welding skills are preferred.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
