GardaWorld Security is hiring a Tactical Security Officer in Burlington, NJ. The role focuses on reading environments, anticipating risk, and acting accordingly while patrolling diverse sites such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.

This full-time position offers a fixed schedule and an hourly wage of $19.50, plus a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, disability, life insurance) and uniform provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license required
• Valid NJ SORA required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to pass extensive screening
• First aid certification is a plus
• Able to stand and walk for the full shift
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check alarms and cameras for proper functioning
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure safety and protection of people and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
• Must have a VALID NJ SORA
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
