Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 18 months of CT experience with at least 6 months dedicated to URMC.
• Current NYS licensure and ARRT certification with CE credits.
• CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams following orders and in compliance with Neurosurgery department and governing bodies.
• Perform I-stats, pregnancy tests, start IVs, and scan patients on the Mobile Stroke Unit (MSU).
• Inject IV contrast, prepare oral contrast, complete documentation, and discharge patient from MSU.
• Assist in equipment evaluations and design of areas where clinical equipment will be installed.
• Maintain ALARA radiation protection and safe environment for patients and staff.
