Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver functional rehabilitation in home, school, work, and community settings. You will evaluate, treat, and optimize communication and swallowing goals across real-life scenarios.

The role emphasizes autonomy within a collaborative therapy team, with opportunities for growth and advancement and a flexible schedule in a client-centered community program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification per state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; potential lifting up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and participate in staff meetings and family conferences.
• Conduct discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to optimize care and outcomes.
