Candidates should hold ARDMS certification and have experience in general, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound, with valid NJ credentials or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS certification required.
• Experience performing multiple ultrasound modalities.
• General, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to travel throughout Central New Jersey.
• Strong patient-care, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile healthcare setting.
• Availability to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain New Jersey credentials.

Responsibilities

Mobile Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist

Central New Jersey
$35–$50 per hour | Full-time

We’re seeking an experienced Mobile Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to provide portable diagnostic imaging services throughout Central New Jersey.

This role is well suited to a dependable sonographer who enjoys working independently, traveling between healthcare facilities, and providing quality patient care. Candidates must be consistently available.

Responsibilities

• Perform portable ultrasound examinations at assigned healthcare facilities throughout Central New Jersey.

• Complete general, abdominal, vascular, and other assigned ultrasound studies.

• Produce clear, high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

• Document examinations accurately and submit completed studies for physician interpretation.

• Communicate professionally with patients, nursing staff, facility administrators, and the operations team.

• Travel between assigned facilities during scheduled shifts.

• Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow imaging, infection-control, and applicable regulatory standards.
