Job summary

Intelliswift - An LTTS Company is seeking a software engineer for onsite roles in Burlingame, Sunnyvale, Menlo Park, or New York. The role covers wearable devices, IOS/Android apps, and distributed backend services.

Strong memory management and race-condition prevention are essential, along with good verbal and written communication. The candidate should excel in mobile development (Kotlin/Swift), concurrency, and system engineering, with additional value from wearables, C++/Rust, and AI/ML

Qualifications

• Mobile: experience building mobile products in Kotlin/Swift with distributed backends.
• Concurrency & Async: multithreaded, event-driven systems.
• System Engineering: architecture design, performance optimization, system reliability improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software systems spanning wearable devices, iOS/Android mobile apps, and distributed backend services.
• Proficient in Kotlin or Swift, with emphasis on async programming.
• Debug race conditions, thread-safety issues, and complex concurrency problems.
• Optimize CPU, memory, latency and system reliabilities.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Location: Onsite at Burlingame, CA or Sunnyvale, CA Or Menlo Park , CA or New York , NY

Duration: 12 months initially with extension up to 30 Months

Job Description:

• Proficient in Kotlin or Swift, async programming
• Design and implement software systems spanning wearable devices, IOS/Android mobile applications, and distributed backend services
• Strong understanding of memory management, resource ownership, race conditions and deadlock preventions
• Debug race conditions, thread-safety issues, and complex concurrency issues
• Optimize CPU, memory, latency and system reliabilities
• Verbal and written comms skills

Must-have skills:

• 1. Mobile - Experience building mobile products in Kotlin/Swift with distributed backends
• 2. Concurrency & Async - Experience in multithreaded, event-driven systems
• 3. System Engineering - Architecture design, performance optimization, system reliability improvements

Nice-to-have skills:

• 1. Wearables - Experience building wearable products (glasses, watches, MR headsets, etc)
• 2. C++/Rust: Proficient system programming in either programming language
• 3. AI/ML Engineering - LLM prompt tuning, evaluation, tool calling, and agent workflows
