Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Senior Mobile Systems Engineer for a 6-month engagement across Burlingame, Sunnyvale, MPK CA or NYC. You will design and implement software for wearable devices, IOS/Android apps, and distributed backends, focusing on concurrency, memory management, and system reliability.

Strong communication skills are essential. Requirements include 10+ years of experience, Kotlin/Swift expertise, and experience in multithreaded, event-driven systems.

Qualifications

• Mobile products experience in Kotlin/Swift with distributed backends.
• Multithreading and async programming.
• Architecture design, performance optimization, reliability improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software systems spanning wearable devices, iOS/Android mobile applications, and distributed backend services.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Swift, async programming.
• Strong understanding of memory management, resource ownership, race conditions and deadlock preventions.
• Debug race conditions, thread-safety issues, and complex concurrency issues.
• Optimize CPU, memory, latency and system reliabilities.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
