Affirm, Inc. is seeking a software engineer in Raleigh, NC to help decompose large initiatives into phased work items and ship reliable software across web and mobile platforms.

You will collaborate with product management, design, and analytics while emphasizing testability and code quality. Ideal candidates have 1.5+ years of experience with React/Vue, React Native or native mobile tech, and scalable APIs written in Kotlin or Python, plus a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience with web/mobile development and scalable APIs.
• Experience shipping web apps using React or Vue and mobile apps with React Native or native technologies.
• Clear, well-tested, extensible code and ability to navigate large codebases; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Break larger projects into phased tasks and deliver them with teammates, product management, design, and analytics.
• Monitor metrics to support reliability and availability; escalate issues as needed; participate in on-call work; contribute to team development activities.
