Job summary

Pan Dimensional seeks a world‑class DevOps engineer to design, implement, and support infrastructure and processes for delivering software in a continuous and secure manner. You will be part of a collaborative engineering team driving automation, deployment, and reliability in a startup environment.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Linux, contributing to transitioning monolithic systems to ephemeral containers and ensuring 24x7 availability in rotation.

Qualifications

• Experience across software development, applications, and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of modern application deployment with CD/CI patterns.
• Willingness to transition monolithic Rails-like stacks to ephemeral containers.

• Designing, automating, implementing and supporting infrastructure and processes around the delivery of our software in a continuous and secure manner, as a collaborative member of the team.
• Helping, as a member of the overall engineering team, to deliver software on time.
• Being a point‑expert on certain technologies, but also cross‑training other team members to back‑fill you when you are not available.
• Being a part of a team providing 24x7 availability in a rotation.

As An Amazing Engineer, You

• Demonstrate an ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
• Have an understanding of application stacks and how modern applications are structured, built and deployed using continuous delivery processes, with idiomatic container patterns.
• Are willing to help through the transition of a monolithic rails application onto ephemerial containers.
• Are comfortable with Linux infrastructure, databases and web technologies, including virtualization, Docker containers, and cloud providers.
• Are experienced with software development, programming, and scripting, but also like to be involved in how the platform and infrastructure are put together.
• Understand security concerns and authentication models.
• Love to automate everything.
