Job summary

Southern Tire Mart seeks a tire service technician to respond to roadside and on-site needs with a fully equipped service truck. You will mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires for passenger, light, and heavy-duty applications, diagnose tire issues, and perform light mechanical repairs as required.

CDL preferred but not required. You’ll inspect tires and wheels, operate TPMS, and maintain safety for varying weather and road conditions, with potential overtime and strong customer service

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift and move tires weighing 30-250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
• Capable of working independently in various weather and road conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Possible overtime may be required.

• Provide exceptional customer service, including clear communication of service details and timelines.
• Assist with warehouse or shop duties when not on service calls.
