Job summary

Southern Tire Mart, located in Georgia, seeks a service technician to respond to roadside and on-site calls with a fully equipped service truck. You will mount, dismount, balance and repair tires, diagnose tire-related issues, and perform light mechanical repairs as needed.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift heavy tires, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will follow safety policies and provide clear timelines to customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift and move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
• Capable of working independently in various weather and road conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.
