Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Mobile Service Technician to provide convenient and professional automotive service to our customers at their homes or places of work. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while representing the AutoNation Ford Memphis brand.

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Pay: Based on previous experience and qualifications

Work Requirements:

• Work Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays as needed)

• Ability to Commute: Memphis, TN 38115 (Required)

• Willingness to Travel: 100% (mobile service position)

• Work Location: In person

Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer locations using a fully equipped service vehicle

• Perform light to moderate maintenance and repair services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, brake inspections, and other minor services

• Accurately diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and communicate findings to customers and the dealership service team

• Ensure all services are performed efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer specifications

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the mobile service vehicle

• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the dealership professionally at all times

• Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records

• Comply with all safety guidelines and dealership policies

Qualifications:

• Ford Certification preferred

• 2+ years of automotive service experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
