Job summary

Cleveland Freightliner Inc. is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to provide on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and customer support for Freightliner/DTNA vehicles. You will operate a mobile service vehicle, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to roadside service needs to maximize vehicle uptime.

The role requires troubleshooting of diesel engines, electrical, HVAC, and braking systems, with DOT inspections and warranty repairs. Frequent travel to customer locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on Freightliner and DTNA commercial trucks, engines, and related systems.
• Respond to roadside service calls and customer locations to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, brake systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, steering, suspension, drivetrain, and hydraulic components.
• Conduct DOT inspections, preventative maintenance services, and warranty repairs.
• Complete recall campaigns, service bulletins, and product updates as assigned.
• Utilize diagnostic software and electronic service tools to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, inspection reports, and customer documentation.
• Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle status updates to customers and management.
• Ensure all repairs are completed according to DTNA, Freightliner, and OEM standards.

Position Summary

The Mobile Service Technicianis responsible forproviding on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and customer support for Freightliner and DTNA commercial vehicles. This role serves as a key field resource for customers by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, responding to roadside service needs, and ensuringmaximumvehicle uptime.
