Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a mobile tire technician to respond to roadside and on-site service calls with a fully equipped service truck. You will mount, dismount, balance, and repair all tire types, diagnose tire-related issues, and perform light mechanical repairs as needed.

The role includes inspecting tires, conducting fleet inspections, and using TPMS and other diagnostic tools. You will maintain the truck and equipment, follow DOT rules, and provide clear service timelines to customers.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (CDL preferred but not required).

Skills / Education / Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (CDL preferred but not required).

• Possible overtime may be required.

Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required.

Ability to lift and move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.

Capable of working independently in various weather and road conditions.

Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

• Overtime maybe required.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
