Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, seeks a field service technician to safely operate a service truck between job sites and perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment. You will inspect equipment, prepare accurate maintenance records, and assist mechanics as needed.

Must be able to travel and work nights or weekends as required. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience with diesel engines or heavy equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, or construction equipment preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems preferred.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a service truck between job sites, plants, pits, and equipment locations.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on construction equipment: oil changes, greasing, fluid checks, fuel logs.
• Inspect equipment for mechanical issues, leaks, wear, and safety concerns; report needs to supervisors/mechanics.
