Allied Universal in Champaign, IL, is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver for a full-time, unarmed position at a retail location. This role involves patrolling, responding to incidents, managing access and providing excellent customer service while driving to assigned sites.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, minimum 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and drug screen.

Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to calmly handle incidents and emergencies while following site procedures.
Attention to detail in monitoring and reporting unusual activity and hazards.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and driving duties.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
Respond to incidents, concerns, and emergencies in a professional, calm manner and notify relevant personnel.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the retail location including sales floors, entrances, and parking areas.
Observe and report unusual activities, hazards, and policy violations per site procedures.
Assist with access control, visitor directions, and monitoring of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
