Job summary

Mesquite ISD is seeking an Overnight Mobile Security Guard to monitor district properties, patrol campuses and respond to alarms during non-school hours. The role requires documenting incidents and coordinating with authorities as needed.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of security guard experience, ability to write incident reports, and are available for overnight shifts on a full-time basis. This position reports to the Fire & Security Systems Supervisor and involves on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• To provide general supervision of all district grounds and facilities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to write incident reports.

Experience:

• 3 year security guard experience preferred.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Monitor safety and security of all district properties by patrolling campuses and responding to alarm calls during non-school hours and after hours calls

• Intermittent walking, sitting and standing.
• Reaching with hands and arms frequently repeating the same hand, arm or finger motion.
• Working overnight shift as well as on-call every other week or as needed.
