Job summary

Paladin Security is hiring Mobile Security Guards to join our team in Duncan, BC. You will patrol between client sites in a company vehicle, perform scheduled and unscheduled patrols, respond to alarms, and help ensure properties remain safe and secure.

The role suits someone who enjoys driving, staying active, and handling diverse situations. Flexible shifts include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence.
• Clean driving record / Driver’s Abstract.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Ability to drive for extended periods and conduct regular foot patrols.
• Comfortable working independently, including during night shifts.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of multiple client properties
• Drive a company patrol vehicle safely between assigned locations
• Complete scheduled site checks, lock/unlock services, and property inspections
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents
• Identify and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, and security breaches
• Complete clear and detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Provide professional customer service to clients and members of the public
• Contact emergency services when required
• Provide first aid and medical response when required
• Conduct foot patrols as part of assigned site inspections
• Use radios, mobile devices, and computer systems to document and communicate activity
• Respond professionally to trespassing and other security-related concerns
