Job summary

AAA Upper Marlboro Fleet is seeking dependable individuals to help with tire changes, jump starts, towing, and other roadside assistance. The role includes 24.15–27.00 USD per hour, with 10% shift differential on 2nd shift, overtime opportunities, and monthly bonuses.

Paid training, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and comprehensive health benefits are provided. Positions require a valid driver’s license, ability to pass DOT-related screenings, and physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license for the state of residence; and maintain all state and local licensing requirements.
• Ability to pass a physical examination as required by DOT and/or company policy.
• 3 years of experience in automotive/mechanical environment or technical school, or 3 years in sales/customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire change services using established guidelines and quality control procedures.
• Provide tow and recovery services using established guidelines and quality control procedures (Tow Truck Operator position).
• Sell and install car batteries (Mobile Battery position).
• Communicate with members effectively to keep them informed and to ensure safety.
• Make sound decisions regarding safe service of vehicles and to accommodate member needs.
• Enter call information into in-truck technology, process payments, handle cash, and complete reports as required.
• Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operation and compliance.
• Ensure fleet vehicle and equipment are secured when not in use.
• Support AAA as needed by participating in events promoting the brand.
