U-Haul is seeking a skilled Repair Specialist in Savannah, GA to maintain our fleet of trucks and trailers and keep operations running smoothly. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and follow U-Haul standards with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with initiative and reliability.
• Ability to work without supervision and manage tasks independently.
• Positive attitude and teamwork.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools used in vehicle repair.
• Understanding of automotive/trailer mechanics and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment to U-Haul standards using appropriate tools.
• Perform work in a timely manner and diagnose causes of operating errors.
• Maintain an effective repair route and schedule for assigned area.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and ensure proper charging of used parts.
• Lend assistance in additional areas as needed under supervisor guidance.
