Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Mobile Repair Specialist to service and maintain the company’s field equipment from the Wake Forest, NC area. The role emphasizes self-management, reliability, and advancing within a large equipment and moving solutions provider.

You will perform repairs, diagnose issues, and manage parts inventories while coordinating repair routes to keep all equipment in service for customers. Local travel and a valid license are required, with opportunities for training and career

Qualifications

• Self-starter with the ability to work without supervision (แข?)
• Positive attitude and proactive approach to field service
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools used in vehicle and trailer repair
• Understanding of automotive/trailer mechanics and how to diagnose issues
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment using the appropriate tools to conform to U-Haul standards.
• Perform work in a timely manner.
• Determine causes of operating errors and decide what to do about them.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and ensure parts used are charged out.
• Establish an effective route in the assigned area to repair all down or inoperable equipment and schedule repairs.
• Lend assistance in additional areas as directed by supervisor.
