Job summary

Fleet Repair Solutions is seeking skilled Mobile Reefer Trailer Mechanics in Grantville, PA to diagnose and repair trailer refrigeration units and perform preventative maintenance.

You will work on reefer units and full trailer repairs from a service truck, using powered industrial equipment. CDL preferred but not required; 608 Certification is required. Combines hands-on problem solving with hands-on service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Reefer technician experience is required.
• Trailer repair experience and ability to perform DOT inspections is required.
• 608 Certification is required.
• CDL is preferred but not required.
• Ability to diagnose and repair units using alarm codes.
• Ability to read and understand complex schematics and diagrams.
• Welding experience with steel and aluminum is a plus.
• A clean driving record and a passion for getting the job done right.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair trailer refrigeration units.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Conduct routine telematics repairs and inspections.
• Accurately track and document repairs using our computer system.
• Perform not only inspections and repairs on reefer units, but also full trailer repair from a service truck using powered industrial equipment.
