Job summary

Fleet Repair Solutions, a leader in medium-to heavy-duty fleet service, is seeking Mobile Reefer Trailer Mechanics with trailer repair experience in Ashland, VA. You will diagnose and repair trailer refrigeration units, perform preventative maintenance, and document repairs using our computer system.

We offer top pay up to $37.00/hour, overtime potential, and annual bonuses up to $12,000. Benefits include health plans, 401(k) match, life insurance, disability coverage, paid holidays and PTO,

Qualifications

• Reefer technician experience is required.
• Trailer repair experience and ability to perform DOT inspections is required.
• 608 Certification is required.
• CDL is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand complex schematics and diagrams.
• Welding experience with steel and aluminum is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair trailer refrigeration units.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Conduct routine telematics repairs and inspections.
• Accurately track and document repairs using our computer system.
• Perform not only inspections and repairs on reefer units, but also full trailer repair from a service truck using powered industrial equipment.

Your Role

As a Mobile Reefer Trailer Mechanic, you will:

• Diagnose and repair trailer refrigeration units
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Conduct routine telematics repairs and inspections
• Accurately track and document repairs using our computer system
• Perform not only inspections and repairs on reefer units, but also full trailer repair from a service truck using powered industrial equipment

What You Bring to the Team

• A CDL is preferred but not required.
• Reefer technician experience is required
• Trailer repair experience and ability to perform DOT inspections is required 608 Certification is required
• Ability to diagnose and repair units using alarm codes
• Ability to read and understand complex schematics and diagrams
• Welding experience with steel and aluminum is a plus
• A clean driving record and a passion for getting the job done right.
