Job summary

Mental Health Partnerships is hiring a full-time Certified Recovery Specialist to provide mobile, community-based services that promote empowerment and recovery in individuals facing Opioid Use Disorder and co-occurring substances. The role focuses on helping clients direct their recovery and connect with community resources, while fostering wellness and self-worth.

Located at 7200 Chestnut Street, Upper Darby, PA 19082, the schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, with a pay rate of

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; Associates Degree in a Human Services related field preferred.
• Credentialed as a Certified Recovery Specialist and PA Certification Board credential required.
• Within the last 3 years, at least 12 months of relevant paid or volunteer work experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be sober for at least 1 year.
• Basic computer skills to perform job duties and learn relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with participants to create self-directed goals for sobriety and recovery.
• Support participants in building a sober network and accessing resources (education, employment, housing, budgeting).
• Attend socialization activities and recovery-related events.
• Collaboratively create crisis plans and recovery support groups.
• Document participant progress in the electronic health records system.
• Perform other duties to fulfill MHP's mission.
