Job summary

Principle Health Systems is seeking a Mobile Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging across multiple sites in the Corpus Christi area. The role involves traveling to skilled nursing facilities, rehab hospitals, and patient homes to provide high-quality radiographic services.

The position requires LMRT or ARRT training, internships, and certification readiness, with a salary range of $26–$30 per hour and regular travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Earned LMRT or ARRT program degree.
• Internships with hands-on clinical experience during the degree.
• Pass or schedule LMRT/ARRT certification exams within the required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Operate portable radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images per imaging protocols.
• Safely transport and operate mobile imaging equipment at diverse locations.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them for imaging while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Protect patients from radiation by shielding non-imaged areas.
• Coordinate with staff to properly align patients and assist those with limited mobility.
• Perform EKGs and follow infection control procedures as required.
• Document patient records accurately during and after procedures.
• Calibrate radiographic equipment and assist in interpreting radiographs when needed.
• Maintain sterilization, storage, and routine maintenance of equipment.
• Log and organize imaging results per company protocols.
• Safely operate a vehicle to travel between locations.
