Job summary

Principle Health Systems seeks a Mobile Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in Abilene and surrounding facilities. The role involves traveling to multiple sites, operating portable radiographic equipment, and delivering high-quality images with strict safety standards.

Requirements include LMRT/ARRT eligibility, hands-on clinical experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license. Flexible full-time/part-time/PRN schedules with training provided.

Qualifications

• LMRT or ARRT certification or eligibility
• Internship with hands-on clinical experience during degree
• Exam(s) required or scheduled for LMRT/ARRT
• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs
• Valid state radiology license (if applicable)
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory

Responsibilities

• Operate portable radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images per protocols
• Transport and operate mobile imaging equipment at various locations
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure correct positioning and safety
• Limit radiation exposure by proper blocking when not imaging
• Coordinate with facility staff to position patients and assist those with mobility limitations
• Document patient records accurately during and after procedures
• Calibrate radiographic equipment to maintain image quality
• Maintain sterilization and routine maintenance of equipment
• Log imaging results per company protocols
• Safely operate a motor vehicle between sites
