Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a Mobile Radiologic Technologist to join our field imaging team in the Capital District area of New York. The role requires travel to multiple patient-care settings and performing portable X-ray and EKG examinations at the bedside.

Ideal candidates include graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with an NYS license and ARRT certification. New graduates are welcome, and a sign-on/relocation package is available with a one-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT certification/registration required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to independently perform portable X-ray examinations.

Responsibilities

• Perform portable X-ray and EKG examinations independently at the bedside.
• Travel to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional facilities, and patients' homes.

• Provide compassionate, professional patient care while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.

Mobile Radiologic Technologist - Full-Time

Location: Latham, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM + 1 weekend per month

Sign-On/Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 with a 1-year commitment

Position Overview

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join a growing mobile imaging team serving patients throughout the Capital District of New York.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced technologists and new graduates. The technologist will travel to various patient-care settings and independently perform portable X-ray and EKG examinations at the patient's bedside.

You will primarily serve patients across Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, and Saratoga counties, with most patients being geriatric.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform portable X-ray and EKG examinations independently in various patient-care settings.
• Travel to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional facilities, and patients' homes.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety and imaging protocols.
• Provide compassionate, professional patient care while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, facility staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate examination records, documentation, and equipment.
• Manage a daily mobile schedule across multiple locations.
• Adapt to different clinical environments and patient needs.

Typical workload: Approximately 7-8 locations per day, depending on the schedule.

Work Environment

Role: This is a mobile imaging position, not a traditional hospital-based role. Technologists travel directly to patients and perform examinations at the bedside in:
