Job summary

ektello is seeking a Mobile QA Tester in Plano, TX to collaborate with developers and QA engineers. You will design, execute, and maintain test cases for mobile apps and system features, and validate firmware and connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G). The role includes manual and automated testing across all lifecycle stages.

The ideal candidate will handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and possess strong documentation and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mobile Android OS platforms and device ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Detect, track, and document software defects, performance issues, and inconsistencies.
• Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and performance test cases for mobile apps and system features.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and feedback to the development team.
• Validate firmware, connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G), and hardware interactions.
• Conduct manual and automated testing as per defined procedures and quality criteria.
• Perform testing throughout all phases of the mobile software life cycle - design, develop, test, release, and maintenance.
