Job summary

WCL Group is seeking a Software Tester- Telecommunications for Plano, TX to support testing of mobile applications, firmware, and device functionality across the software development life cycle. This role requires collaboration with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to identify and document defects and provide actionable feedback.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Android platforms, experience with Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, and 5G connectivity testing, and

Qualifications

1–3 years of mobile software testing, QA, or related field.
Strong understanding of mobile Android OS platforms and device ecosystems.
Experience with functional, regression, performance, manual, and/or automated testing preferred.
Experience creating, executing, and maintaining software test cases.
Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams throughout the software testing life cycle.
Detect, track, document, and communicate software defects, performance issues, and inconsistencies.
Design, execute, and maintain test cases for mobile applications and system features.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and feedback to development teams.
Validate firmware, connectivity, and hardware/software interactions across mobile devices.
