Job summary

Ford Design is seeking an exceptional Mobile Product Designer to collaborate with the Mobile App Team. This role focuses on mobile UX/UI, exploring the latest trends, hardware capabilities, and delivering end-to-end experiences for Ford owners and drivers.

You will design features using Figma, manage backlogs, create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, and partner with Product Management and Engineering to ship polished mobile experiences across iOS and Android.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of UX/UI product design, including at least 2+ years designing native or responsive mobile apps shipped to production.
High proficiency in Figma.
A strong portfolio showing multiple shipped mobile app design projects with deep understanding of mobile UX principles and platform patterns.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of features and improvements for our products to align with business objectives and user needs.
Balance UX and UI design; work from wireframes to polished visual UI.
Use Figma to develop mobile app features and experiences.
Create and manage backlog stories representing your work.
Take ownership of design tracks and manage timelines and deliverables.
