Job description

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Mobile Power Account Manager - Truck PTO, Hydraulic Pumps.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $121,124.97 - $177,000. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The primary function for this role is to establish sales strategies and account management initiatives for specialty OEM customers who manufacture products where the use of mobile power products is required.

The role is responsible for business development, revenue, profitability, customer relations, and overall account management for assigned customers. The role will be the primary liaison between Eaton, Bezares (Eaton is the North American master distributor for the Bezares USA mobile hydraulic power portfolio. Bezares is a global manufacturer of Power Take Offs (PTO), hydraulic pumps, tanks, valves, and other related mobile hydraulic power components), and the customer. This role will also require the ability to manage and drive execution across multiple organizations and functions.

The role develops relationships with key engineering and purchasing contacts and acts as the primary point of contact with all functional areas of the organization to support customer growth strategies. It will be responsible for understanding engineering requirements, employing Eaton and Bezares resources to generate technical solutions, formulating business cases, and articulating engineered value propositions.

Additionally, the role requires a basic understanding of product designs and performance requirements within the mobile power space and the ability to evaluate the current product portfolio for potential opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Develop and implement growth strategies for Mobile Power product portfolio, collaborating with internal and external partners.
  2. Work closely with customer engineering and technical teams to understand requirements and specifications.
  3. Understand product performance, system operations, and portfolio availability to offer technical solutions.
  4. Develop and manage relationships at all organizational levels, including engineering, purchasing, materials management, and operations.
  5. Participate in problem resolution and OEM events representing Eaton.
  6. Collect industry intelligence and communicate trends internally.
  7. Drive contract administration and ensure accounts are in good standing.
  8. Implement pricing updates and support new product launches.
  9. Contribute to customer scorecard activities and improvements.

This role can be supported remotely for candidates currently residing in the USA. It requires approximately 50% travel within the US and Canada.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of overall experience.
  • At least 3 years in mobile power and/or fluid power industry.
  • Experience in CV account management, aftermarket sales, or hydraulic engineering support.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Residing in the USA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business, engineering, or technical degree.
  • Knowledge of truck products and industry.
  • Technical knowledge of PTOs, hydraulic pumps, tanks, valves, and related components.
