Job summary

Southwest Equity Partners, Inc. is seeking a Roving Porter to support multiple apartment communities in San Diego. This hands-on role focuses on janitorial services, cleanliness, and general upkeep across properties.

You will travel between assigned properties, work with Property Managers and the Maintenance team, and proactively identify and report safety or maintenance concerns before they escalate.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or property upkeep preferred.
• Experience at multifamily properties is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and procedures preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required due to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned apartment communities.
• Clean entrances, walkways, stairs, breezeways, courtyards, and common areas.
• Pick up litter and debris in parking lots, sidewalks, and grounds.
• Manage trash and recycling areas and clean around dumpsters.
• Clean laundry rooms and shared resident areas; wipe surfaces and mop floors.
• Remove cobwebs, clean windows, doors, railings, and surfaces.
• Inspect properties and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Travel between multiple properties during the workday.
