Job summary

ExcelHealth Group seeks a Podiatry Assistant – CNA to support podiatry visits in long-term care facilities. You will transport residents, assist with exam preparation, and help maintain efficient clinical operations.

Under the podiatrist's supervision, you will document health histories, record vital signs, ensure HIPAA compliance, and coordinate with nursing staff to keep patient flow smooth.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the applicable state.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to safely transport and assist patients with mobility needs.
• EMR/EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from the podiatry clinic area within the facility.
• Provide mobility assistance and maintain patient safety and dignity.
• Assist with charting and documentation in patient records (EMR/EHR).
• Record vital signs and podiatry notes as directed by the podiatrist.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure timely patient flow and scheduling.
