Job summary

Advanced Foot & Ankle Care Centers seeks a Mobile Podiatrist based in or near Lancaster, CA to provide foot and ankle care to residents in Nursing Homes across North LA & East LA. The role offers schedule flexibility with travel between facilities.

The position requires DPM, CA license, DEA preferred and BLS/CPR, plus reliable transportation and willingness to cover multiple sites during designated hours.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school.
• Active California Podiatric Medical License.
• DEA license preferred and BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and assessments for residents in nursing facilities.
• Provide non-traumatic routine foot care and diabetic foot care as needed.
• Perform minor in-office/bedside procedures for ingrown nails.
• Manage minor podiatric wounds per facility protocols.
• Document encounters and treatment plans accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians on care plans.
