Job summary

Rivetus Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered care across geriatric post-acute settings. You will assess, plan, and implement PT programs, participate in conferences, supervise PTAs and aides, document thoroughly, and adhere to clinical standards.

The Local Traveler role supports facilities within a 30-mile radius of your home, with a stable schedule and advance facility knowledge, promoting consistent patient outcomes and efficient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Licensure as required by the State of Ohio

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy screenings and evaluations to determine patient physical status and develop, implement, and assess treatment plans using strengthening, modalities, and retraining to maximize independence.
• Provide direct patient care in accordance with productivity standards and the professional and ethical standards of the APTA, using graded activities to restore physical and functional abilities.
• Check, instruct, assign, and review the work of PTAs and aides as assigned.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support medical record quality, continuity of care, and reimbursement guidelines.
• Participate in patient care conferences, CQI activities, and new program development as requested or required to support continuous quality care.
• Promote current clinical practice standards through continuing education and in-service programs, including coordinating and/or participating in programs for internal and external groups.
• Participate in company meetings and additional activities as directed to facilitate effective departmental operations.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and current standards of clinical practice while maintaining a continuous focus on quality patient care.
