Job summary

MediPro Direct is seeking a Mobile Paramedical Examiner to perform life insurance exams at applicants' homes or approved sites in the Alexandria, LA area. This independent contractor role offers per diem work with flexible hours and travel within the coverage area.

You will conduct medical history interviews, collect and handle specimens, and complete required forms. Prior phlebotomy experience and current certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.
• Strong blood-draw skills and reliability.
• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile setting.
• Accurate medical documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Proficiency with computers and smartphones.
• Access to a computer and printer.
• Willingness to travel within service area.

Responsibilities

• Travel to applicants' homes or approved locations to perform exams.
• Record medical history and vital signs.
• Draw blood, collect urine samples, and prepare shipments.
• Perform EKGs when ordered.
• Complete and submit exam forms accurately.
• Package specimens for laboratory shipment.
• Review orders and adhere to client requirements.
• Maintain documentation and scheduling updates.
