Job summary

MediPro Direct, Inc. is expanding its network of mobile phlebotomists to perform life insurance medical exams in Alexandria, LA and surrounding areas. Examiners work as independent contractors on a per diem basis, traveling to applicants at home or other agreed locations.

Required: 1 year phlebotomy experience, current phlebotomy or medical certification, and strong documentation and customer service skills. Flexible schedule with administrative support provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.
• Strong, reliable blood-draw skills and medical terminology proficiency.
• Certification in phlebotomy, Medical Assistant, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile setting and manage documentation accurately.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Travel to applicants' homes or locations to conduct life insurance medical exams.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood/urine specimens.
• Take vital signs and biometric measurements; document results.
• Prepare specimens for shipment and perform EKGs when ordered.
• Complete forms accurately and review orders online.
